Playing a sex video in a congressional proceeding or before a court is against the law, Senator Leila de Lima said Tuesday.
“Alam niyang labag sa batas ‘yan kung meron mang ganyang video. Please, stop. Pwede ba, tigilan na ninyo talaga ako,” De Lima said in an interview.
Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II earlier in the day said he could present three sex videos in their possession if De Lima would deny her romantic relationship with Ronnie Dayan, her former driver and alleged lover, or any other man.
"Halimbawa kung nag-trial tapos dine-deny ni De Lima yung relationship niya with Ronnie Dayan or anybody, then we could show that video," Aguirre said.
He added that even the House justice committee investigating the proliferation of illegal drugs inside the national penitentiary wanted to play the video during its televised inquiry.
